Pastor Geier attended a multi-day class in "Iconography" being offered at a Lutheran church in Sault Ste. Marie this past June. It was the "Prosopon School of Iconology" being offered by some professional iconographers out of New York. The class taught the highly detailed specific process for creating these Christian Icons using techniquesthat were centuries old. Pastor Geier shared what he learned at the September 19th Bible Study. And he also showed us his "finished product" depicting the "Arch-Angel Michael". Very Interesting!

There will be a Sunday School meeting on Tuesday, August 30 at 6:30pm. We will plan on scheduling the Sunday School year until Christmas and look at the new learning materials. We are excited to start a new year! Choir practice starts this Wednesday, the 24th at 6:30, new members are welcome. Hope to see you there.
